How to uninstall package include dependencies Ubuntu 21.04 (Hirsute Hippo) or Debian 11 (bullseye)

if we want to remove a software package we usually just use the command

sudo apt-get remove software-package-name

this command only uninstall the 1 package software only

if you want to uninstall the software along with its dependencies which are no longer needed we can use this command

sudo apt-get remove –auto-remove software-package-name

If you also want to remove your local/config files for software-package-name then this will work.

sudo apt-get purge –auto-remove software-package-name

you can change software-package-name with the name of the software package you wish to uninstall
