How to install google chrome on Ubuntu 21.04 (Hirsute Hippo) or Debian 11 (bullseye)

based on data from https://gs.statcounter.com/browser-market-share on Feb 2021 Google Chrome is the browser with the largest market share in the world

To start the installation of Google Chrome on your Ubuntu 21.04 (Hirsute Hippo) or Debian 11 (bullseye), follow these steps:

1. Download Google Chrome via Terminal

Open your terminal by clicking on the terminal icon or using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Alt + T

and then run this command

wget https://dl.google.com/linux/direct/google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb
2. Install Google Chrome on your system
sudo apt install ./google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb
3. Now You can open Google Chrome From Activities (on ubuntu) or menu button on debian
but for now I prefer to use the Brave browser combined with Keepassxc
For the reason I feel more comfortable or safer using open source software, both Brave browser and Keepassxc are open source
